This year, we’re embarking on an exciting journey to create inspiring children's stories that spark imagination and joy, along with thoughtful books and resources designed to uplift and support NICU parents. Stay tuned for updates as we bring these meaningful projects to life!
Children's Books
In 2025, we will be launching and releasing one of our children's books. Inspired by the NICU journey our little one(s) take and the hope we have for their future, our first book will be a book that all NICU parents can relate to and read to their NICU babies to comfort and share hope for brighter days ahead!
Our Heart Behind the Book:
- Our heart is to share the words inspired by the Lord of a time in our journey where our faith was tested and we had honest prayers and conversations with the Lord. Through those, the Lord was gracious and gave us hope that no matter the outcome, He was good and His plans were perfect.
- Our heart is also that more NICU parents feel seen and have more resources available to them that are unique to their situation.
Our Goals for the Book:
- Our goal is to have this book available for sale on our online store and other bookstores and online outlets. We want others who may be in a NICU situation or know of NICU families to be able to purchase or gift as a source of hope and love for the NICU baby fighting for their life.
- Our goal is to also use part of the proceeds from the sales of the book to donate to hospitals so families can have them available to read to their little one(s) in the NICU.
Our Tentative Release Plan:
- Q1 2025 - Meeting with publishers and illustrators.
- Q2 2025 - Starting on editing and illustrating.
- Q3 2025 - Finalize marketing and all copywriting.
- Q4 2025 - Release Book!

NICU Parent Resources
NICU Dictionary
In 2025, we will be working on writing and editing our first book for NICU parents. Inspired by the NICU journey David and I took and the many challenges we faced as parents in the NICU and the medical world, we want to provide a resourceful book for NICU parents to reference that helps break down common NICU terminology and what it means for their little one(s). Whether it's without having to reference the internet or feeling confident enough to ask questions, get advice, or make decisions on your child's care, we want to help fill in the gaps and give encouragement and knowledge to NICU parents in impossible situations.
Our Heart Behind the Book:
- Our heart is to allow the NICU experience to be more eye opening and parents to be more knowledgeable and informed with a resource at their finger tips. Through our journey, we experienced so many times where we were given information that we had no comprehension of what was being told to us. Fortunately, we had many doctor and nurse friends who could break it down for us, but even then, what it means in the NICU can be something entirely different.
- Our heart is to also give parents confidence in advocating for their little one(s) and making the best informed decisions they can when it comes to their little one's health. Any medical situation, can be a very daunting experience, especially for new parents, and advocating for our children is so important to David and I and how we can share that and inspire other parents to do the same for their children means the most to us.
Our Goals for the Book:
- Our goal this year is to collaborate with certified doctors and nurses in and out of the NICU who can help with terminology and definitions and help us translate it to laymen's terms for any parent to be able to read.
- Our goal is to have this book available for sale on our online store and other bookstores and online outlets. We want others who may be in a NICU situation or know of NICU families to be able to purchase or gift to parents as a helpful resource.

Prayers & Scriptures for NICU Parents
Paired with our NICU dictionary, we want to provide book that will go with it and provide scriptures and prayers that specifically target the areas of health that are being affected from medical reports. The NICU is one of the most stressful situations for parents, and from David's and my experience, your mind is often foggy with few clear thoughts. That state of shock and the overwhelming environment often make it challenging to recall specific scriptures to pray or even to know what to pray. By providing specific prayers and scriptures they can stand and believe on for their child and coupled with our NICU dictionary, we can equip NICU parents with the most important tool they can have as they walk through their NICU journey.
Our Heart Behind the Book:
- Our heart is to equip NICU parents, with easy, referenceable scriptures and promises that the Word of God gives us when it comes to our children, our health, His healing power, and the faith and hope we have in Christ.
- Our heart is to also give parents simple prayers they can read and pray over their children that specifically prays over the area in the NICU dictionary that they are referencing. Especially when there is a diagnosis or specific illness reported, we want to equip parents to immediately not only understand what is wrong medically, but then have the prayers they can pray over their little one(s) and that diagnosis.
Our Goals for the Book:
- Our goal is while working on our NICU dictionary, we begin to pour through Scripture and pair specific verses and write specific prayers with the medical terms.
- Our goal is also to meet with and use certified ministers and pastors for oversight and guidance throughout the process.
