About Effie's Tower

 Proverbs 18:10 says, " The name of the Lord is a fortified TOWER; the righteous run to it and are safe." Being in the NICU is a time of so much uncertainty. Nothing is guaranteed and the only thing we have left is God. To know that we can run to Him despite the chaos, this world, and everything that may seem to vanish tomorrow is the most reassuring promise he has given us. For He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is always there. We just have to go to Him. Our heart at Effie's Tower is that through our love and support, we help others run to the Father.   

When the Eiffel Tower was constructed, no other structure had ever been built like it. It seemed preposterous at the time; but to everyone's amazement - and later delight - the Eiffel Tower was built exactly the way it was engineered to be and in a record-setting timeframe and budget. Many believed that this type of structure could never be built and stay strong because of the lightness of the materials, but Gustave Eiffel, the architect, who understood the materials and foundation better than others proved them wrong. We know how the rest of the story goes as we know the Eiffel Tower to be one of the most iconic landmarks in all the world. Since the original build time, one prestigious nickname the Eiffel Tower  received is the "Iron Lady" - a piece of history masterfully created to be stronger than anyone expected. And that's exactly who Effie was.  

Our mission at Effie's Tower is to bridge gaps of care, love, support, education, and rest to NICU families through personable prayer teams, NICU education resources, opportunities of peace and rest, and care packages for every family to know they are thought of and loved on.
